Utility Information

You are responsible for activating your own utilities for your new rental property.  It is preferred that you handle this at least one week in advance from the date you need them turned on in your name.  We suggest that you handle your telephone service even farther in advance due to order-on waiting lists, which are expected in a college city where thousands of changes must be processed.  Remember that most utility companies are closed on weekends and holidays.  If you are simply transferring your service from elsewhere within the city, you still need to contact each utility company to handle a transfer.  Please note that the deposit charges listed below are subject to change at any time.
